Teqoia is currently recruiting for a Energy Automation Customer Service Engineer to be based in the area of Den Haag. We don’t require years of experience, but it would be in your advance.

We need someone who will enforce the Customer Service and commissioning team on: substation automation and distribution & transmission grid protection.

You will be involved at the technical development issues. But most important, you will work within the team to provide service to the customers with their installations. During your activities you will be in close contact with the engineering and realization department for technical backup.

Within the projects you will discuss technical issues with the project engineers. You will preform do preventive and corrective maintenance activities and support customers on technical issues at onshore and offshore installations.

During commissioning of systems and projects you will support the project team and are committed to a successful site acceptance test (SAT).

What is needed

As a Customer Service engineer in the energy automation business you should be familiar with typical product ranges as: SIPROTEC, SICAM, RUGGEDCOM, SCALANCE and Spectrum Power 5. Additional with tools like DIGSI, Toolbox II, Device Manager, SICAM PTS, OMICRON Test Universe.

Communication protocols like: IEC 101, 104, 61850, Profinet, Modbus and Process bus are mainly used and network topologies where fiber optic or CAT cabling networks are applied.

Relevant IT knowledge and Cyber Security basics is a must with detailed configuration knowhow of SCADA systems, especially SICAM PAS and SCC. Our client will take care of the (technical) trainings and introduction to the different product ranges.

Offshore certificates based on GWO, STIPEL Certification on WV, VCA VL and NEN 3140/3840.

Activities can be applied in the Netherlands but also abroad therefore ad hoc traveling should be no problem. Due to work related activities and tools, living in the area of Den Haag is recommended.

Customer reports and documentation are provided in the Dutch or English language. Writing and reporting on professional scientific level is requested in both languages.

  • Gross salary between € 3.505,00 and €  4.124,00  per month;
  • Doing stand-by services is part of the job but paid additional;
  • 25 holiday days (excl. bank holidays)
